Zirconium based solutions span the pH range along with a different counter ion to tailor the product to specific applications

On the alkaline side, ammonium and potassium zirconium carbonates are excellent in the paper and board industry for adding water resistance to the product.

On the acidic side, both mineral and organic anions give rise to products perfectly suited as base raw materials for catalysis, applications within the textile industry along with additives for inks and pigments.

Bacote® Series

Bacote® 20 enhances paper strength by crosslinking with binders.

Zirmel® Series

An ammonia-free crosslinker that strengthens coated papers and offset printing.

Ammonium zirconium carbonate

A versatile crosslinker for coated paper, paperboard, and water-based inks

Zirconium nitrate

Used in applications such as paint driers, leather tanning, ink and catalysis

Zirconium acetate

A mildly acidic clear, aqueous solution used for crosslinking and catalysis applications

Zirconium orthosulphate

A strongly acidic clear, aqueous solution used in titanium dioxide pigments

Zirconium propionate

Zirconium Propionate is used as an adhesion promoter in printing inks

Zirconium oxynitrate

A crosslinker for adhesives, textiles and antiperspirants
